I have used these pegs on the hard standing of Caravan Club sites without a problem. They really need a battery drill to insert them but they go into the hard ground and hold. I have found that an impact drill is amazing for inserting them. This is a different action from a hammer drill and probably too expensive to justify having just for this use, but if you have an impact drill this is a potent combination for getting your awning secure very quickly.

Having struggled with hard ground pegging out tents in the past and more recently a porch on the hardstanding that has become a feature of most caravan sites because of the ease of getting on and off in wet weather, these proved to be a real boon from the very first time I used them, going in and out of the ground with no difficulty whatsoever. Would thoroughly reccommend

Fantastic product! I am disabled and struggle so this is a little gem for me, makes everything easier, recommended by a friend who had suffered from a heart attack and could no longer bang pegs in to the ground but both of us are still caravanning and putting awnings up thanks to these things! Great for grass but fab for hard standings. Fantastic product!
